ラオスとの国境の街、ノーンカイの中心駅。市街までは3kmほど離れているので、駅前に停まってるトゥクトゥクなどで向かうといいかと。夜行列車で来るとラオスに行く国際列車と接続してます。

MUST DO: If you're crossing the border going to Laos, buy a ticket for the express train to Thanaleng Station for THB20. Then, follow the queue to the immigration booth for your exit stamp.

They offer free wifi, but users need to register first.

Thai government runs free wi-fi service at this station, all you need to do is to register. Great way how to spend the waiting for the train if you don't have mobile Internet.

Showers are clean and pretty decent--do yourself (and your fellow passengers) a favour and make use of them before your trip, especially since you've probably been out in the heat and dust all day.

การจากสอบถามพี่พนักงานการรถไฟ ที่สถานีหนองคายนีิ้ ได้ทราบว่าจะมีรถไฟวิ่งไปที่ สถานี"ท่านาแล้ง" ของประเทศลาว ทุกวันๆละ 4 เที่ยว ซึ่งสถานีจะตีนสะพานฝั่งตรงข้ามของลาว เปิดบริการตั้งแต่ปี 2552
