Make sure you walk in Ryton Woods (an area of special scientific interest) and check out the oak canopies and medieval ditches/boundaries between landowners of old.

Parking is £3 since October 3016 at least... there's plenty of parking available - two more parking areas exist after the first row of herringbone parking

Lovely park with ducks and swans, great for walks. Parking is £3.

Parking at £2.50 in my opinion is quite excessive, especially when the parking spaces are quite tight. Lovely walk and play area for the kids though

Ride on the miniature steam trains on sumdays till 4. Its cool.
