Worth it. Too much art and fancy rooms. The audio guide is a waste, better sign in any of the guided tours

Fantastic period house and gardens designed by Capability Brown. New addition is a Gin Bar in The Stables!

Fabulous house with many artistic treasures, a great garden and park, all steeped in history.

Love the house and the beautiful grounds. Visited the house with the Christmas theme 2017 but felt very disappointed, it did not have the wow factor. Over priced and miserable staff on the day.

A grand stately home that is well worth a visit. I would recommend a guided tour as it gives good insights into the history of the Dukes of Devonshire and all their connections. Fascinating.

Walk round the gardens, visit the farm or have a tour of the house. If none of those takes your fancy have a walk round the estate and the great footpaths that surround.

A beautiful mansion with very broad meadow. You can enter the inside of the mansion, garden and yard, but there's additional fees.

Mary Queen of Scots was held at Chatsworth on various occasions between 1569 and 1584. Her lodgings were on the east side of the house where the rooms are still called the Queen of Scots Apartments.

The perfect place for a picnic! Also, lovely for long walks. Be careful of the cows and sheep the wander freely crossing the road!
