This is a beautiful area if Austin that is just minutes away from "the city." A place I can get away for a while and be in nature.

Walk around. Find a spot. When the weather is nice the water is crystal clear and cool. Perfect for a hot summer day. (Usually best a day or two after it rains though)

This is a great place to both hike and take a swim. Even during drought season there are spots deep enough to jump off the cliffs and swim in. Beware of snakes near brushy areas though.

Take plenty of water and when its not drought season wear water proof shoes/boots for the creek crossings.
