Stopped at this pub during Chess Valley Walk. Good beer, good food and good service. Definetely worth to take a look if you are around and looking for a break.

How disappointing. The first time I have refused to pay for a meal (or to eat it for that matter) in four years. If you run out of the advertised meal, say so. Don't attempt to pass something else off

Honest fare and a welcoming "local" atmosphere. Try the Chicken pie especially if it's cold and wintry outside!
