The staff are very friendly and helpful. The platforms are very long. If the train to Dublin is more than five carriages it will go right to the end of the platform.

Very long platform here so if getting off in Portarlington, best sit in the first two carriages of the train so you have less to walk when you get off :)

Don't use the Victorian era staircase unless you like rust.

The heater is always on in the waiting room, best to stay here if you're Dublin bound
