The overall atmosphere here is great and the cookie I chose from their baked goods was delicious. The lighting, however, is bright enough to make you squint, which is jarring after dark.

The Carrot is much more about community than lunching, so even the amazing coffee gets overshadowed by a wonderful range of artists and performers. An unpredictable and lovely coffeehouse.
