Head to the roof or the basement and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the older bars in the Fenway area. It's a bit of a dive, but it's full of charm.

Great place for alumni to watch college games on TV, $2.50 Budweiser draws, bar food offers cardboard pizza, thin burgers, and fries only w burgers or sandwiches). Staff is friendly and accommodating.

The old "1270" which was a gay bar in the early 80's which played the best new wave music in the world! The bar was located at 1270 boylston St., hence The 1270.
