It's fun to see the tea equipment and plantation. Lots of tour buses. They produce tea, but don't know how to brew it, it tasted pretty bad.

Free tasting of the locally produced tea, but the queijadas were only ok.

Very cool to see the factory is still in use, the old fashion way. Ask for a free guide but don’t forget to take some coins for tips.

It's a great site to visit and the hike outside is wonder but you can buy the tea for less in almost any grocery store.

Chá verde ! É gratuito e fabuloso ! Paragem obrigatória a quem visita São Miguel ! Fantástica oportunidade de comprar chá e levar para vossa casa ou, quem sabe, oferecer a família ou amigos? Recomendo

You can find some of these teas also at the supermarkets. Buy them there, you can save some money.
