Very cosy inside. They do a medieval style tea/ dinner for small to large parties which is attractive for corporates. Def recommend for a visit

Great Horrible Histories exhibition with real costumes from the Tv show! Lots of free games and things to make and take away, so good of you're looking for something to keep the kids occupied.

If you'd rather not pay to go in, or it's closed, go through the passageway at Coffee Yard to see into the main hall through the big glass windows. A fine example of a restored medieval hall.
