They don't honor reservations. According to the gentleman working the counter, if you want a car, even if you have a reservation, you need to be there before 9am or they'll give it away.

Awesome place, new budget cars, negotiable price. We got Mitsubishi Lancer 2013 for 700 MXN for half day, tripped to Isla Blanca and some beaches and left it at the airport before flight. Excellent.
